An Audio Announcement is substantially an audio file that can be played to the caller through a special function of the IVR or the incoming trees.

The audio files must be recorded with a normal audio editor, in Microsoft Windows there is the "Sound recorder" but there are many others more advanced ones, one of these is Audacity that we recommend because it's simple to use and it's freeware:

On ce you’ve recorded your Audio Announcement you need to save it in Wav format (On Audacity from the Files menu => exports as Wav).

Now you only need to click on graphic

After having inserted the description click on Browse and select the file just saved and click on add.

The files will be converted in .gsm and it will be immediately available for the station

If you wish to listen to it after having saved the changes click on the button graphic   or "Applies Changes", you’ll have to dial the relative code "Listening "relative in the list of Audio Announcements.
You just need to pick up the receiver and dial * 4*<code> to instantly play the Audio Announcement.

You can modify the description of the Audio Announcement clicking on graphic  or to remove the file clicking on the buttongraphic .

It is not possible to modify the audio file without removing it and re send it to the server for conversion reasons related to the of audio format of the station.
