The Answer Groups are groups of users (extension/internal) that identify a group of
telephones able to answer to a call even though the call wasn’t direct to the extension called.
For example an Answer Group for the trade office so that at that extension belong all the
users/extensions of the same office.
If a call is directed to an extension where the user is not available, any other extension within
the group can take the call just by dialing *8.
Create a new Answer Group.
Go to the Voip section => Extensions => Answer Groups
Click on “
ADD”
to create a new Answer Group.
Insert the name of the groups and click on
“ADD
” to confirm the action
Add users to the groups:
You can add users to a group in two different ways. You can either operate through the Group
area adding users already present in the group or through the User management/
gestione
utente
.
1° Add users trough the Group
After you’ve created a Group click on
and the following window it will appear, here you can
manage the users member of the group.
Select the users you intend to put in the Group, click on the arrows
to add or remove
them from the Group, click on “Change” to confirm the action.
2° Add users through the User management /gestione degli utenti.
Click on=>Advanced Setting (Impostazioni Avanzate).
Click on
Answer Groups/Gruppi di Risposta.
There will be a list of Groups, select that or those where you need to add your user and then
click on
.
Click on the appropriate button to confirm the changes
Save the Rescue Point as described in the "Saving Rescue Point
" section. We recommend
that you insert a description of the changes.
