A Software Switch is just like a normal switch that it works differently depending on if is ON or OFF.
When the Switch is ON the three follows a root and when it is OFF another.
Click on
“ADD”
to create a new switch software.
Insert the Name and the initial status (ON/OFF) and the click on ADD.
Now you can:

modify the name clicking on

remove it clicking on

In the list of Switch page are some important information are shown:
Status:
If it’s RED it means that the Switch is OFF, if it’s GREEN is ON
Number to Change the status (Numero cambia stato):
You can change the status from any telephone.
By dialling the sequence of numbers,
*2*<Switch number> you can turn it ON
*3*<Switch number> you can turn it OFF
**2*<Switch number> it changes the status no matter what it is, if it’s ON goes on OF and vice versa.
Some advanced IP telephone, such as the SNOM it is possible to control these Switch directly from the
keypad.
By setting the speed button to "Destination/Destinazione" and dialling the Change Status Number
(**2*<Switch number>) you will have the following actions:

This kind of setting is very simple and allows people with no technical skill to change redirect the calls in one
or more IVR.
For example it can be use to create an appropriate switch to generate Day/Night tasks.
When the switch is ON (Night) the Three play a Fonia (a recorded message) that announce that the office is
closed.
When the switch is OFF (Day) the call is direct as usual to the operator.
Appropriately setting the IP telephone, the operator will take care of switching the task dialling a number on
the keypad.
Click on the appropriate button to confirm the changes
