Outgoing Calls
Previous  Next

Outgoing calls are all calls that originate from an internal line and have a telephone line, an SIP provider, or another Asterisk in trunking (connected to the main station) IAX or SIP central as the destination.

After dialling a number (on a phone correctly configured to work with NBlade), the station will make a tentative verification to see if the number is within the same station (another extension) or not.

If the dialled number is an extension of the station the call will be immediately connected (intercommunicating function).
If the dialled number is coming from outside the central, it is verified with the permissions list.
Each extension can originate from one or more groups of permissions , each of which can contain one or more authorized prefixes.

If the dialled number is not authorized there will be a beep that signals the end of the call.

If the number is authorized, the station will verify to which provider the call will be sent.

This verification is done through the prefix list that matches each prefix (correctly dialled as per the rules explained later) to an external provider.
