PRI/BRI Provider

The BRI / PRI provider must be compatible with the PCI Cards  certified by the NBlade station.

1° activate the hardware for the PCI Cards:
Go to the Voip -> General Parameters ; in the PRI / BRI Auto detect section: select the hardware used (BRI /PRI/Analogic).
NOTE:
You need to re-boot the System in order to make the load of the drivers of the unit effective (system menu -> restart system/menu sistema -> riavvio sistema).
Before you re-boot the System, save the Rescue Point as described in the "Saving Rescue Point ".

To ADD a new provider do as indicated below:  



Go to Voip -> click on Provider and select  PRI/BRI

Click on “Forza autodetect”

NOTE:
If few second pass without anything being detect, press F5 to refresh Internet Explorer.

If the PCI card has being correctly detected it will bee in the list of PRI / BRI Provider. graphic


NOTE
The PRI / BRI provider on the list are the ISDN channels of the installed card.
If, for instance, we’ve installed a 4 BRI channels ISDN card, there will be 4 providers on the list.

3° Click on the BRI / PRI channel you are interested in to access in the ISDN channel setting.

NOTE
By default the system detect the PCI card and sets all the parameters automatically.
It’s highly recommended not to change the hardware settings.


Menu entries description:

Provider name (card):
By default the system inserts the kind of hardware detected (it’s highly recommended not to change it).

- Context:
It choose which flow the Incoming call  should follow
If you choose "Passing Selection" the Incoming Calls will be identified with the caller (it’s the number in ISDN).


- Nation - Switchtype - Signaling - Framing - Coding - Crc:

All these parameters refer to the nation and the provider of the BRI/PRI Service.
The NBlade system automatically detects the connected card (see ISDN BRI/PRI CARDS ) and provides the necessary values according to the nation of the provider.

NOTE if, in case of malfunctioning, it’s necessary to change those values please contact the ISDN Provider to ask for the line settings.
Due to the wrong setting being inserted a halt of the System may occur.



- C.B1 - C.B2 - C.B3 - C.B4 - C.D - Address1 - Address2:

All these parameters refer to the kind of BRI/PRI hardware connected.
The NBlade system automatically detects the connected card (see ISDN BRI/PRI CARDS ) and sets the values for the B and D Channels.

NOTE if, in case of malfunctioning, it’s necessary to change those values please contact the ISDN Provider to ask for the settings.
Due to the wrong setting being inserted a halt of the System may occur.

- Context:
It choose which flow the Incoming call  should follow
                
- Prefix:
It’s the default prefix of the Outgoing Calls of this Provider.
            
- Remove num:
The number indicates how many numbers must be canceled from the dialed number
It’s used when one adds the prefix to direct a call to a specific provider.
For example if one dials the number 30212345678 and then puts 1 in "remove num" the number 3 will be removed. The new number sent to the provider will be 0212345678


- ISDN Group Outgoing Calls:
If the same Group is associated with more then one card/provider (1 to 20) it is possible to create groups of cards for the Outgoing Calls.


Click on the appropriate button to confirm the changes

Save the Rescue Point as described in the "Saving Rescue Point " section and we recommend that you insert a description of the changes.
(Example: “Add provider“)
